Our story
Olive’s Homemade Sourdough Bakie started in 2024 as a journey to search for the perfect balance of flour, water, and salt. Bakie is a scottish word which means a small wooden vessel in which we prepare all our goods and Olive is named after our fur baby.
OHM Sourdough Bakie now sells a daily selection of baked goods made from natural yeast. The patience of cultivating one’s own yeast which is not only healthier but also tastes better.
We have a philosophy of balance—a balance of old techniques and new ones, of different ingredients and flavours, and of passion and skill.
